Story

In the foothills of the Opalaca mountain range, located in Belen, Lempira department. Around 30 years ago, Don Miguel Rodriguez started to grow 1.7 acres of Arabic coffee, specifically catuai; as an alternative of generating income as well as a way of improving the living conditions of his family and his collaborators; as any other producer he also encountered price crises and the effect of pests; yet his perseverance, dedication and passion for the cultivation of coffee have allowed him to overcome the difficulties; convinced in the importance of this noble activity, some years ago he incorporated his entire family to the activity and together they have managed to increase the area of ​​cultivation, the beneficiary processes and with it, the quality of their coffee while maintaining harmony with the environment.
